We work closely with the Vahlteich Medicinal Chemistry Core to support lead optimization projects. We perform oral bioavailability, pharmacokinetic, and biodistribution studies in animal models. We access state-of-the-art facilities at UM In Vivo Animal Core to facilitate healthy and disease models for a range of drug discovery and development efforts. The FACS Core Facility has two state of the art cell sorters FACSAria III. As much as four different cell populations can be sorted simultaneously, and cells can either be sorted onto slides, into tubes (1-15 ml) or plates (6-384 wells). In addition, we have a LSRFortessa, a NovoCyte and a Quanteon analyser which can perform multi-parameter flow cytometric analysis.
